Flight Over Dwarf Planet Ceres

According to the NASA JPL YouTube channel: Take a flight over dwarf planet Ceres in this video made with images from NASA’s Dawn spacecraft. The simulated flyover was made by the mission’s camera team at Germany’s national aeronautics and space research center (DLR).

According to Mashable

A new video produced by NASA shows a detailed animation of some of the most dramatic features on the dwarf planet Ceres.

The data used to create this video was beamed back to Earth by the Dawn spacecraft, which is currently exploring the small world, the largest object in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Dawn is the first human-made probe to visit Ceres. Read the full story, here.

I did the quick conversion: 10 ton meeotr moving at 30 kilometers per second has an energy equivalent of a small atomic bomb of one kiloton.(Thousand tons of TNT)This should let you keep in mind what a one megaton bomb can do.
